Hertz
To reserve your Hertz rental car, call 1-800-654-2240. Be sure to mention the CV number, 04840010, when making your reservation.
Getting Around San Diego
San Diego International Airport is located three miles from downtown San Diego. San Diego International Airport is accessible via local mass transit lines, regional trains and buses, and interstate highways. Most ground transportation access areas are located at the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, and curbside at the Commuter Terminal. Taxi
From the San Diego International Airport taxi cabs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like a taxi cab simply follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A transportation coordinator will place you with the first available taxi. The cab fare from the San Diego International Airport to downtown San Diego ranges from $15 to $25.
Transit System
The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) offers fast and convenient service from the airport to the San Diego Convention Center and downtown. MTS operates the San Diego Trolley and provides multiple transportation guides. In addition to the trolley, The Flyer, MTS bus route 992, directly services the airport and the downtown area. Shuttle Buses
Shuttle buses will operate between official ASTRO hotels and San Diego Convention Center. Shuttle service will be provided continuously throughout the day starting Saturday, October 30, 2010, and ending Thursday, November 4, 2010, for anyone who has booked a room through the ASTRO Housing Center. The shuttle bus schedule will be posted on the ASTRO website and will be included in the official Annual Meeting Program.
