The 2008 Chicago Multidisciplinary Symposium in Thoracic Oncology (formerly the Chicago Symposium on Malignancies of the Chest and Head and Neck) will bring together physician specialists from North America and abroad presenting lectures and symposiums on an interdisciplinary approach for the treatment of thoracic cancers. The scientific program will provide information on the latest developments in basic and clinical research. The meeting is co-sponsored by ASTRO, ASCO, IASLC and the University of Chicago.

The Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Symposium held January 18-20, 2007, drew more than 500 attendees to the California desert to hear the latest advances in the management of head and neck cancer. This comprehensive three-day program of invited talks will address the broad range of quality assurance concepts and procedures used in modern day radiation therapy, including both established and emerging image-based and adaptive radiation therapy modalities.
